NEEDING

Rosy cheeks and sunlight in her hair
Creamy skin spun of gold
Maiden so deliciously delicate and fair
Mine eyes drink in all to behold

She rides roan steed with such passion and grace
The wind exaggerating her every feature
Beauty and charm rest upon her face
Oh, such a voluptuous creature

My heart races with impeccable speed
As she rides across the lea
Passing me by, towards her lover
Why him and not me?
